The JNC acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which we work, the Gadigal and Bidjigal People of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge that these lands always were and always will be Aboriginal lands. We celebrate First Nations Peoples’ connection to the land and recognise the importance of Indigenous voices and culture. We would like to advise that there may be images or videos on this website of people who have since passed.

NSW Seniors Festival Expo in Maroubra

The JNC is proud to host The NSW Seniors Festival Expo in Maroubra with local community organisations.

The NSW Seniors Festival Expo in Maroubra is designed to provide you with lots of information to help you Grow Young! In keeping with this year’s theme, you will have the opportunity to learn, be inspired and be free.

You will walk away with a new attitude once you understand what supports are out there for you as a senior. Whether it is socially, creatively, physically or legally, experts will share their knowledge. The JNC has enlisted the support of other local community organisations to attend. They will share information on the services they offer to support you to stay independent, connected and happy!

You will have the opportunity to discover more about:

  • Consumer Directed Care from Council on the Ageing NSW
  • Planning Ahead from Kingsford Legal Centre
  • Community Transport from Randwick Waverley Community Transport
  • Support with hearing matters from Australian Hearing
  • Activities & social support services through the Coast Centre for Seniors & The JNC.
