Resume Support Volunteer
Looking to support your local community by assisting with the employment process? JNC is looking for a new volunteer to assist with our Resume Support Service 2 hours a week in Randwick or Waverley. Days are flexible.
Social Shopping Volunteer
Join our social shopping outings, helping an older community member with their groceries and other shopping and errands.
Event Volunteer
JNC is looking for volunteers to support at their local community events. General responsibilities would include helping on the BBQ, assisting with set up / pack down and chatting to community.
After School Volunteer
Assist with JNC's Active Minds Club. Responsibilities would include childcare, homework assistance, helping with set up and pack down.

Sylvia's Story

Volunteers help out with almost everything that we do at JNC – our community groups, events, bus outings, friendly phone calls and more. If you are looking to try out the aged services sector, gain experience working face to face with community members, are on a career break looking for something meaningful to do or just have a few spare hours in the week that you would like to put to good use, we would love to hear from you.

We ask that all Volunteers be willing to join the team for a minimum of three months – but of course, if the role you try doesn’t suit you, you’re welcome to try something else with us or we can suggest other organisations to try locally. Please note that our opportunities are always between Monday-Friday 9-4.30.

For student placement enquiries, please note: Our placements for the current year have been allocated and we do not have staff available to assist with additional student placements, we can sign off on completed volunteer hours only and cannot guarantee any specific learning opportunities to suit course requirements.
