Parenting Program: Bilingualism Workshop for Parents and Carers
The South Randwick Community Hub Partnership is excited to offer parents and carers a free workshop on bilingualism.
Australia is proud of its cultural diversity. Many of us speak more than one language. We would like our children to be able to speak our first language too. But how do we do this so that they are confident to speak two languages without confusion?
We are holding the Bilingualism workshop to provide parents and carers with useful tips. We want to support you to nourish your children culturally and be able to speak your first language as well as English.
At this FREE workshop you will learn more about:
- Typical language development and recognising issues
- Ways to encourage your child’s language develepment
- Easy guidelines on raising a child in a bilingual environment
