ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The JNC acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which we work, the Gadigal and Bidjigal People of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge that these lands always were and always will be Aboriginal lands. We celebrate First Nations Peoples’ connection to the land and recognise the importance of Indigenous voices and culture. We would like to advise that there may be images or videos on this website of people who have since passed.

Walk Randwick Parks – Social Community Group

The JNC runs a fortnightly community walking group on Wednesday afternoon.

There is something about a long leisurely walk, it soothes the soul and calms the mind. Just soaking up the natural surrounds of ocean or greenery and beautiful trees in park lands brings a smile to one’s face.

The JNC has established a community walking group with the help of our passionate volunteer Marion. With years of experience as a hiker and also walking group facilitator, Marion brings warmth and engaging conversation to the group.

So what are you waiting for? Reap the benefits of walking and socialising in natural environments. All you need to be is of adult age, living in the Kingsford, Randwick, South Coogee or close by, and able to walk up and down stairs as needed on coastal walks.

We meet at The JNC Randwick, 2 Albert Street (near the corner of Avoca St) in Randwick fortnightly on a Wednesday at 1.45pm.
