ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The JNC acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which we work, the Gadigal and Bidjigal People of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge that these lands always were and always will be Aboriginal lands. We celebrate First Nations Peoples’ connection to the land and recognise the importance of Indigenous voices and culture. The Junction Neighbourhood Centre – The JNC – looks back on a very satisfying  year of strengthening community and creating connections. It has been a pleasure to connect with our community this year, and we look forward to continuing this connection in 2018.
Our offices are closed from 4.30pm on Friday 22 December 2017, and will re-open on Monday 8 January 2018. Please use our Christmas Crisis Directory to access assistance services in this period. If you need urgent assistance, please phone Lifeline on 13 11 14; for emergencies, phone 000.

We will continue to follow advice from NSW Health and the Department of Health, and we will keep adapting the ways we work in these challenging times. JNC is committed to our communities in the Randwick, Waverley, and City of Sydney LGAs.
