ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The JNC acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which we work, the Gadigal and Bidjigal People of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge that these lands always were and always will be Aboriginal lands. We celebrate First Nations Peoples’ connection to the land and recognise the importance of Indigenous voices and culture. We would like to advise that there may be images or videos on this website of people who have since passed.

Raising Grandchildren Information Expo

The JNC is proud to be a co-host on the Raising Grandchildren Information Expo.

Are you a Grandparent or Carer raising your grandchildren? Do yo do this full or part time, formally or informally? Then come along to a FREE Information Expo. Local services have partnered to design an expo just for grandparents or carers raising their grandchildren.

Raising grandchildren can be challenging. So why not get some support? Discover what is on offer from key agencies in your local area. You can hear their presentations and chat to them one on one afterwards. Finally you will be able to find out the answers to your burning questions. Also you can take home some tips on how to look after yourself.

Children are welcome and there will be fun free activities for 0-5 years. Light refreshments will be available for all.
