Did you know that family wellbeing programs and resources are being offered by local neighbourhood centre JNC?
Our Families Team supports anyone living in the Randwick LGA who is:
- a parent of a child under 12
- a grandparent or carer caring for a child
- expecting a baby
We have Indigenous Community Workers who can provide culturally appropriate support for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people.
We offer many ways to strengthen your wellbeing and your child’s:
- information on the support services available throughout the community
- casework, including support for women and children experiencing domestic and family violence
- referrals to other services
- workshops, courses and support groups

JNC family programs help you understand how children develop and experience their world. You can also meet other people who are exploring parenting issues. To keep you safe, all programs are being offered online at present but in coming weeks we will be recommencing face-to-face programs.
123 Magic and Emotion Coaching For parents and carers of children aged 2-8 years: develop skills to manage children’s behaviour effectively and calmly. On 11, 18, 25 August, 10am-11.30am. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register or call Dan on 9349 8200.
Dads developing positive connections with their child (0-8 years) A workshop series for fathers and men in a caring role who want to enhance their relationship with their children and discuss parenting challenges with other men. On 19 and 29 August and 2 September, 6pm-7pm. Email email@example.com or call Josh on 9349 8200.
Single Parents’ Group A group of single parents in the Randwick LGA who meet on Zoom once a week on a Tuesday from 10am. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Angie or Mala on 9349 8200.
