ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The JNC acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which we work, the Gadigal and Bidjigal People of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge that these lands always were and always will be Aboriginal lands. We celebrate First Nations Peoples’ connection to the land and recognise the importance of Indigenous voices and culture. We would like to advise that there may be images or videos on this website of people who have since passed.

The JNC and event partners give the community 10 out of 10 for your spirited participation at the 10th Family Fun Day. Thanks for coming along to Memorial Park in Matraville last Friday, 25 October 2019, for an afternoon of free fun, food and links to support services.

Thanks to the many people who said, “I come every year,” and those who said, “First time – I’ll definitely be coming back!”

Thanks to everyone across the generations for participating in the community wild water fight and the exciting noodle race, engaging so enthusiastically in all the craft activities, and cheering on the Matraville’s Got Talent performers.

Thanks for your enthusiasm for all activities, from the old time favourite climbing wall to new activities like the St John’s CPR game and Randwick City Library’s Spark! Van activities.
