To keep everyone COVID-safe we have to limit our opening hours and the numbers of people in our community hubs. (You can find our COVID Safety Plan at this link.)
February 2021 updates
Mondays: 1-on-1 computer tutoring is face to face from 22 Feb.
Tuesdays from 16 Feb: additional JP service between 12-2pm. Phone 9349 8200 for all appointments & questions.

Services updates: hub opening times
Here are the times you can drop in to our Maroubra and Bondi Junction community hubs to get information and referrals face to face:

Due to limits on the number of staff on site and to ensure social distancing, both hubs are currently closed on Fridays.

One-on-one services – book first
Call us on 9349 8200 to book for these one-on-one services at our Maroubra and Bondi Junction hubs:
Computer & phone use: appointments available same time as drop-in times above
Form filling assistance: Fridays at Maroubra 9.30am-12pm, Tuesdays at Bondi Junction 10am-12.30pm
JP services: Wednesdays at Maroubra 2-4pm, by appointment, limit of 10 pages, no affidavits
Wesley Mission Homelessness support service: At the JNC Maroubra office on Friday mornings from 9.30am-1pm.
This service can assist with:
- Emergency accommodation
- Rental arrears
- Helping you retain tenancy in existing housing
- Providing additional support in the form of short term case management and/or referrals to a range of other services.
Wirringa Baiya Legal Service: Tuesdays 10am-12pm every second Tuesday of the month.
This service provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children in NSW with a gender-specific service sensitive to their culturally diverse needs, and provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women victims-survivors of violence with access to appropriate legal representation, advocacy, advice, and referral.

MONDAYS ‘Here We Grow’ gardening group starts off at 59 Newland Street Bondi Junction, 1.30pm-3.30pm
TUESDAYS Walking Group starts off from Shop 2, 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra, Tuesdays 9.30am-11am
WEDNESDAYS Qigong group, run online by our Tai Chi volunteer Mary, from 10am-11am
Services updates: other JNC support
From Monday to Friday, 9am-4.30pm, JNC continues to be available by phone on 9349 8200 for enquiries about & bookings with these JNC services.
General information and referral
You can find out about support services available in the community and we can assist you with referrals to services. We can also link you with or send you copies of our service directories. Find our crisis assistance directory for the 2020-2021 holiday season at this link.

We can also supply direct numbers for support. For example, if you need housing assistance during this difficult period please call Link2Home on 1800 152 152.
Aged Services
Find out about social support and respite services for people over 65, including our personalised list shopping service, friendly phone calls, outings into the community and home visits, and our online groups (new!).
We encourage referrals through My Aged Care, but to enquire or book a service please call us on 9349 8200 and check out our aged services page.
Family services
Find out about phone, online and face to face casework and support services for families with children aged 0-12 years. Also see our families page for more about how we can support you. We offer information, referrals, and a range of online groups and programs.

Aboriginal Community support
You can speak to one of our Aboriginal community workers for support, information and assistance with referrals, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families.
Domestic and family violence
Contact JNC to access the Eastern Sydney Staying Home and Leaving Violence (SHLV) and support services for families experiencing domestic and family violence.
