Welcome to JNC, we’re here to support you getting & staying connected! Your neighbourhood centre links you with your community, support services and gives you the chance to develop new skills.
To keep everyone COVID-safe we have had to limit our opening hours and the number of people in our community hubs. You can check out our service updates below and our COVID Safety Plan here.

Glebe Knitting Group: 2nd and 4th Monday’s of every month 10am-12pm (Registration necessary)
Gentle Exercise Class: Wednesday’s at Glebe 10:30am-12pm (Registration necessary) – Group activity – Aged Services only online participation available
Bus Outings Maroubra: Monday’s & Tuesday’s, roughly 5 hours long (Bookings essential – $10, lunch not included) Group Activity

General information and referral
You can find out about support services available in the community and we can assist you with referrals to services. We can also link you with or send you copies of our service directories. Find our crisis assistance directory for the 2020-2021 holiday season at this link.
Want ideas for school holiday activities for your children? Low budget or free, and fun for the whole family? You’ll find them in our school holiday activities list at this link.
We can also supply direct numbers for support. For example, if you need housing assistance during this difficult period please call Link2Home on 1800 152 152.
Aged Services
Find out about social support and respite services for people over 65, including our personalised list shopping service, friendly phone calls, outings into the community and home visits, and our online groups.
Family services
Find out about phone, online and face to face casework and support services for families with children aged 0-12 years. Also see our families page for more about how we can support you. We offer information, referrals, and a range of online groups and programs.

Aboriginal Community support
You can speak to one of our Aboriginal community workers for support, information and assistance with referrals, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families.
Domestic and family violence
Contact JNC to access the Eastern Sydney Staying Home and Leaving Violence (SHLV) and support services for families experiencing domestic and family violence.

When you arrive at our centres you will see some differences to help keep you and the JNC team safe.
