ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The JNC acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which we work, the Gadigal and Bidjigal People of the Eora Nation. Services for First Nations People and Communities

For First Nations People looking for support or services, JNC can connect you with our First Nations team members who will ensure you are provided with the support you need in ways you feel comfortable with.

WHO WE ARE

JNC has a team of First Nations workers who Culturally support and work directly with First Nations Peoples to access JNC services or services provided by other organisations.

Our team members work from a
trauma informed basis.

WHAT WE DO

JNC offers a range of services for local communities including aged services, domestic and family violence services and community programs and services: information and referral, JPs, form filling assistance and groups. We have First Nations team members working across all these programs who can support you to access the best services for you.

We also offer some specialised programs for First Nations People and communities including

Specialist trauma informed support
Casework and individual support
Assistance with accessing other services including form filling, assistance with housing and health services
Specialist domestic and family violence support
Wellbeing and resilience programs for First Nations Women
