JNC leadership team: strong community support

The JNC leadership team has strong experience and skills in the leadership and management of community and aged care services and in financial and quality services management.

General Manager, Janet Green (left)

Janet has worked in social planning for 45 years, 30 of which have been in the non-government sector. She brings extensive experience managing community-based organisations to her role as General Manager at The JNC. Janet has worked in senior management roles in NGOs and as a consultant with community organisations on strategic planning, organisational change, service planning and development for 18 years, much of which was in the aged care sector. She has held a number of Board roles in the NGO sector over the past 25 years. BA (Social Science); Grad Dip Urban Studies. 

Operations Manager – Community and Family Services – Anna Hartree  (centre)

Anna  worked in community sector management for 25 years in a women’s refuge, in two community legal centres and since 2013 at The JNC. She brings to the JNC strong experience in community development, financial management and service coordination and management.  In 2017 Anna moved into her current role, to lead our community and family programs through a major change management process. She has extensive experience as a member of not for profit boards over many years.  B Soc Science (Welfare Studies); M. Community Management.

Operations Manager –Aged services – Jane Rogers

Jane joined the JNC leadership team  in August 2019 after a career in the operational management of Community Transport services. She has more than 25 years’ experience working in the aged and disability sector and has a passion for developing and designing programs and services that are accessible and equitable. Jane has served on the management committees of a number local community groups in the Eastern Suburbs and is a strong advocate for the not-for-profit sector. Hons Humanities (Arts and Education); Diploma in Management.

Business Services Manager – Petra Besta (above right)

With 20 years  in the community sector in various capacities including 8 years as a coordinator of a disability organisation and in rehabilitation as a leisure support worker, since 2010 Petra has focused her skills on the management of accounts, information technology and other business services at The JNC. Volunteering has been a large feature of Petra’s career experience with over 30 years of contribution to management committees of sporting, community and disability organisations, and she was an Olympian in the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Bachelor of Leisure Studies, majoring in Disability and Ageing; Diploma in Counselling; associated degree in Civil Engineering.
