Position Description

Are you keen to support older people to feel a part of their community and to build your skills in a fast-growing industry?  If the answer is yes, then please consider applying for a position of Social Support Worker with our aged services team. Please note:

  • This role is working out in the community all day and so includes driving.  Therefore a  current Australian driver’s license is essential. 
  • The role also includes taking people shopping and so you need to be able to lift shopping bags, weighing up to a maximum total of 8 kgs and to push a shopping trolly
  • At times you may have a client who uses a wheelchair, so you must be able to push a wheelchair (training provided)
