BACKGROUND

VAST Training Services has been providing sector support for over 20 years. The program is funded to work with Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) providers and disability funded services. VAST provides services to more than 50 organisations across the City of Sydney and the Eastern Suburbs.

This is achieved through two main programs:

• Training for volunteers, staff, managers and boards 
• Volunteer recruitment and referrals

VAST TRAINING

VAST Training Services delivers a bi-annual Learning and development program. Our core business is to support organisations to meet funding requirements and address industry changes. This includes the Aged Care and Disability sector reforms. Our innovative training solutions include affordable:

•  face-to-face courses
•  managers’ forums
• Tailored for Tomorrow – Tailored for Tomorrow are flexible in-house training session that meet organisations’ individual needs. They’re also eligible for reimbursement.

ELIGIBILITY

We prioritise learning and development opportunities and referrals to CHSP and disability funded services in five local government areas: Randwick, Waverley, Woollahra, Botany and the City of Sydney.
