VAST Training provides specific training and forums for Managers of organisations funded to deliver the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Disability Services through Family and Community Services. A Managers’ Breakfast is held twice a year to provide managers with an opportunity to find out about changes to the sector. Usually an industry specialist will facilitate the session. This form of management training provided an opportunity for you to discuss items with peers. Managers can network over a fresh, delicious breakfast.
Similarly, VAST hosts governance training for Management/Board members of the aforementioned organisations.
Please note eligibility to Governance Training, Management Training, including Manager’s Breakfast, is for managers and board members of CHSP and Disability funded services only. Our other training sessions are open to all services, however priority is given to staff and volunteers of CHSP and Disability funded services in instances when demand for bookings are high.
Sessions currently on offer include: VAST Fundamentals of Care Calendar 2017
