FUNDAMENTALS OF COMMUNITY CARE CALENDAR

VAST Training delivers an innovative  bi-annual Learning Calendar. It contains up-to-date industry specific training for staff, volunteers, managers and Board Members of CHSP and Disability funded services.

The VAST Fundamentals of Community Care Calendar includes face- to-face courses, volunteer training and governance & managers’ forums and training.

We also offer flexible In-house training options:

  • Tailored for Tomorrow – the trainer comes to your organisation to meet your individual team needs. We are offering 12 reimbursable* packages from February – June. (*Conditions apply).
  • Customised Training – VAST will organise your in-house training to meet your specific requirements including trainer, venue bookings (as needed), certificates and collated feedback report.

Volunteers of CHSP and Disability funded services can attend VAST training for half price (excluding First Aid) and Volunteer Ready for free!

Bookings for all training, including online modules, are made online on Eventbrite. Further information on the booking procedure is included on the bookings page.

ELIGIBILITY

We prioritise learning and development opportunities and volunteer recruitment and referrals to Commonwealth Home Support Programme and disability funded services in five local government areas: Randwick, Waverley, Woollahra, Botany and the City of Sydney.
