We provide information and referral support. You can access our public phone, computer and internet to connect with advice and support from other agencies.

Sometimes you may be looking for specialist support that the JNC does not provide. We are here to assist you to find the appropriate information and support. We offer this through our information and referral service.

Information

The JNC collates information into handy directories. Our directories cover the following types of services:

  • Crisis and Emergency
  • Mental Health
  • Families and Children
  • Respite. English Classes
  • Crisis Services Available over Christmas Holiday Period

As part of our information and referral services, we provide a computer (connected to the internet) and telephone. As a member of the public you can access these facilities. It is our aim to make it easy for you to contact services and organisations.

Referrals

We will always try to assist you directly. If we are unable to provide the appropriate assistance we can refer you to another service. We only make referrals with you after we have your permission. These are the types of services we can refer you to:

  • Families
  • Older people
  • Women escaping domestic violence
  • People in need of crisis assistance
  • People needing legal advice
