ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The JNC acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which we work, the Gadigal and Bidjigal People of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge that these lands always were and always will be Aboriginal lands. We celebrate First Nations Peoples’ connection to the land and recognise the importance of Indigenous voices and culture. We would like to advise that there may be images or videos on this website of people who have since passed.

Give It a Go – JNC opens it’s doors…

Give It a Go is a great event to explore our services and experience new activities, while making friends.

EXPLORE OUR SERVICES, EXPERIENCE NEW ACTIVITIES

On Tuesday 12th May at 10.30 – 2pm, The JNC is opening its doors to the public for a fun day of activities, information, light refreshments and entertainment. “Give It a Go” will be held at our Maroubra office, Shop 2, 669 -673 Anzac Parade, a few doors down from the Bowen Library.

The Junction Neighbourhood Centre (The JNC) strengthens communities, fosters inclusion and creates connections. For over 40 years The JNC has achieved many social justice outcomes through working collaboratively with communities and individuals. The General Manager, Ms. Janet Green states

“Give It a Go will be a great opportunity to find out first-hand the range of exciting activities and clubs we have on offer in Maroubra, Randwick and Bondi Junction.”

Give It a Go is an opportunity for adults to meet new friends while trying out activities or learning more about parenting or even volunteering. If you know someone who may be feeling a little lonely or is new to the area, please share the event with them.

There will be a free lucky door prize on the day and also an opportunity to share your thoughts with a friendly consultation titled Community Conversations.
