ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The JNC acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which we work, the Gadigal and Bidjigal People of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge that these lands always were and always will be Aboriginal lands. We celebrate First Nations Peoples’ connection to the land and recognise the importance of Indigenous voices and culture. We would like to advise that there may be images or videos on this website of people who have since passed.

Community Kitchen: Cooking Classes for Parents & Carers

JNC Family Program Community Kitchen offers free cooking classes for parents and carers.

We are excited to share our brand new Community Kitchen cooking classes. They are free to parents and carers and a great opportunity to socialise with others while learning how to cook new meals.

Two facilitators will guide you through recipes that are easy, affordable, nutritious and family friendly! The cooking classes are a chance to learn about the nutritional value of the meals and gain tips for cooking in a fun and interactive way.

At the end of the session participants get a chance to relax, eat the meal they have prepared together and share cooking advice, recipes and tips. Free childminding is also available for the duration of the session, but please note that spots are limited.

So come along, create, chat and share ideas with others.
